FULTON – September 5, 2025, Daniel M. Wood, 76, of Red Creek, NY, passed away at home on Friday, September 5, 2025, after a long illness. Dan served as a Lance Corporal for the US Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved animals. Dan was very family oriented and especially loved spending time with his wife and kids. He was predeceased by his son, Daniel Charles Wood; his mother, Katherine Sipes; step-fathers, Richard Sedore and Claude Sipes; brother, Harold Wood; and sisters, Evelyn Spickerman and Christine Sipes.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Cindy Wood; son, Mark (Dawn) Wood; daughter, Diane Veiga; granddaughters, Briann (Corey) Elsby, Grace Wood, and Danielle Wood; brothers, Claude Wood, Ralph Sedore, Richard Sedore, Scott Sedore; sisters, Marge Newsom, Gail Sipes, Nancy Switzer, Robin Sedore, Jody Humphrey, Billie Clary, Carolyn Quick; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, “Fat Cat”.

In respect to Dan’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, https://support.kidney.org/[1] in Dan’s memory. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
