Donald L. Slokowski

FULTON – February 3, 2024, Donald Slokowski, 79, of Fulton, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, after battling leukemia. Born in Fulton, he was son to the late Louis and Anna (Doviak) Slokowski. After graduating Fulton High School in 1962, he attended the Philadelphia College of Science and Textiles. Following college, Don worked for the United States Postal Service for 45 years, including 13 as a mail carrier and 32 years at the counter.

Don was a dedicated and passionate fan of Syracuse University sports, loved attending The Great New York State Fair, and always looked forward to family gatherings. In retirement, Don spent his time working around his home overlooking the Oswego River, maintaining many gardens with his wife, and visiting casinos.

Don will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 45 years, Robin; son, Brandon; daughter, Valerie (James) Blance, and many cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be from 2:30 to 5:30 pm on Monday, February 12 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY 13069 with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be this Spring at St Mary’s Cemetery.
