Donald R. Kinney, 86 of Fulton, passed away Friday at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Sanford, NY he was a long resident of Fulton. Don was the owner of the Phoenix Pharmacy, retired from the Oswego Hospital Pharmacy and worked in many area pharmacies after retirement.

He was an award winning photographer and enjoyed camping and woodworking.

Don was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of Phoenix Lion’s Club and founded the Neahtawanta Sam’s Club.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, the former Laura Holland; children, Dona (Michael) Schnaufer, Terry (Kathy) Kinney, Gary (Patricia) Kinney, Michael (Lynn) Kinney, Steven (Maureen) Kinney, Douglas (Maree) Kinney, Laurene Kinney, Jeffrey (Cassie) Kinney; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.

Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
