Donna F. Matzke, 83

Donna F. Matzke, 83, of Oswego, passed away Wednesday at St. Luke Health Services.

Born in Minnesota, Donna had lived in Granby for many years. She had retired from Lanigan Elementary School after more than 25 years as a first grade teacher. She was a member of the First United Church of Fulton.

Donna was predeceased by her husband, Frank H. Matzke, who passed away in 1996.

She is survived by her sons, Frank James Matzke of FL, Stephen C. and Erick J. Matzke of Fulton, Douglas E. Matzke of MD and Roger W. Matzke of PA; a daughter, Kandace E. Eaton of Old Chatham; siblings, Allison, Rodney, David and Robert Growe; 15 grandchildren; Eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 am Monday at First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St., Fulton. Spring burial will be at Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander. Calling hours will be 1 to 4 pm Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
