Doris E. Kerfien, 77

FULTON, NY – Doris E. Kerfien, 77, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
She was born in 1941, in Fulton, a daughter to the late Henry and Vera Howald Goutermout.
Doris retired from Nestle Co., in Fulton, in 1981.
She was predeceased by her son, Frederick E. Kerfien Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Teresa Kerfien, both in 2005.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Frederick; two daughters, Cindy (Brian) McVeigh of Annapolis, Md. and Crissy (Scott) Lockerbie of Adams, NY; five grandchildren, Caitlin, Shannon, Nicholas, Cody and Lindsey; four great-grandchildren who loved their Gigi very much; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
