FULTON, NY – Ernest D. Loveland, 71, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.
He was born on September 6, 1945, in Fulton, a son to the late Edward and Ruth A. Welch Loveland.
Ernie was a veteran of the US Navy, serving from 1964 to 1968.
He enjoyed target shooting and cars.
Ernie was a long-time member of the Fulton Alliance Church.
He was predeceased by his son, Mark Loveland, in 2015.
He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife of 52 years, Sandra; three children, Larry (Stephanie) Loveland of Pennsylvania, Missy (Greg) Jones of North Carolina and James (Jasmine) Loveland of Minnesota; daughter-in-law, Abby Loveland of Chittenango; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Lesa (Mike) Lawrence of Fulton and Debbie (David) Loveland-Lowe of Syracuse; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7 at Fulton Alliance Church, 1044 State Route 48, Fulton.
