FULTON, NY – Estus “Easy” F. Coant, 76, of Fulton died Tuesday February 28, 2012, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Fulton, he was a life resident of the Fulton – Volney area.

Estus retired in 1985 from Armstrong World Industries in Volney where he was a machine operator and was union president.
He had previously worked at Sealright for 15 years and had delivered for Durkees bread in the 1960s.
Estus served as Cub Master for Mount Pleasant Pack 761.
Estus was a foster parent for many years.
He was an Army Reserves veteran serving from 1956 to 1961.
He was predeceased by his wife, Loretta, who died in 1998; sister, Delana Thomas; and a brother, Frederick Coant.
Surviving: daughters, Beth Newton of Phillipsburg, NJ and Lennet (Jim Ferrazoli) Whitmore of Fulton; sons, Robert (Lynne) Coant and Dave (Carrie) Coant all of Fulton; brother, Ivan (Linda) Coant of Fulton; sister, Molly (Dick) Wheeler of Fulton; 10 grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Bryan, Renee, Sara, Beth, Daniel, Mandy, C.J., David, Emily; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday with services to immediately follow at 5 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
