Gail Sharon Gravatt, 62

Gail Sharon Gravatt, 62, of Oswego went home to be with the Lord on Monday, after a four year struggle with cancer.
She was born January 5, 1948 in Cortland, NY, a daughter to the late Norman C. and Geraldine Ladd.
Gail was a strong woman, full of life and had a smile for everyone. She took great joy celebrating her amazing love for the Lord at the Cato Christian Fellowship. Gail was often described as loving, caring, nurturing, hard working, selfless, diligent, committed and willing to do most any task. Her wit and humor, along with her contagious smile will be with us forever.
No matter the magnitude of the challenges she faced during the past four years, she never once complained. Gail’s message to all who suffer from cancer is “God blessed you with whatever he placed in your life, even illness, He will glorify Himself in you and your suffering. Love to all who share in this suffering. My prayers are with you.”
Gail had a very productive life long career in office management for local car dealerships. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Gene and Robert Ladd.
Gail is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Paul F. Gravatt; four children, Renee M. Lewis, Paul J. Gravatt, Benjamin D. Gravatt and Roseanne C. Gravatt; three brothers, Donald, Gary and John Ladd; five grandchildren, Joseph Lewis, Joshua Lewis, Paul Gravatt, Katelyn Gravatt and Evan Tranham.
Gail’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Oswego County Hospice and Gail’s friends for the care given during her illness.
There are no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal has care of arrangements.
