FULTON, NY – Gary P. Barkowski, 60, of Granby, left to go fishing forever on Wednesday August 9, 2017.
He was born in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, and resided in Granby since the 1980s.
Gary retired in 2012 as a service engineer from the Carrier Corporation after 36 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Chester Barkowski and Elizabeth Meslowski; stepfather, Leonard Cormier Sr.
Surviving are the love of his life, Jane M. Ingison of Granby; two sisters, Carol (Marc) Cormier of Nevada and Cindy (Craig) Kachline of North Carolina; two nephews, Joseph and John Accarino; a stepbrother; two stepsisters; and several cousins.
Services are private.
Contributions in Gary’s memory may be made to the Pet Haven Cemetery, 4501 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13215.
