Geneva “Jean” Palen, 89, formerly of Hannibal, died Wednesday at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Fulton, she was a life resident to of the Fulton – Hannibal area. Mrs. Palen retired from S.U.N.Y. at Oswego after many years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Palen and by three sons, Harold, Raymond and Ernest Stacey.

Surviving: five children, Sharon Crofoot, Rodger Stacey, Diana Crapser, Sally Laws and Denise Prior; a brother; a sister; 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, 12 noon to 2 p.m. with a 2 p.m. Memorial Service to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal. Burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
