FULTON, NY – Helen L. Allen, 98, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday May 24, 2016, at University Hospital, Syracuse.

She was born on August 10, 1917, in Fulton, a daughter to the late William and Emily Jones Hicks.

Helen was a lifetime member of Fulton VFW Auxiliary Post 569 and MOCA.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Allen, in 1973; two daughters, Emily Griffith and Rosemary Ficher; and one brother, William Hicks.

She is survived by her five children, William (Esther) Allen of Florida, Barbara Wilkins of Fulton, David (Alice) Allen of Fulton, Ruthann Morgan of Fulton and John (Luwanna) Allen of Kentucky; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
