FULTON, NY – Hibert F. Skip Whelsky, 74, of Fulton, passed Tuesday November 3, 2015, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Darby, Pa., he had resided in Fulton for most of his life.
Skip enjoyed playing horseshoes and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Skip had worked for many years for Owens-Brockway Glass, retiring in 2000.
He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Anna May Whelsky; daughter, Torrie
Whelsky; son, Todd Whelsky; brother, Edward Whelsky; and sister-in-law, Sharon Whelsky.
Skip will be forever loved by his wife of 28 years, Danielle; children, Richard (Jeaninne) Whelsky, Kurt Whelsky, Chad Whelsky, Christi (Lyle) Sharkey, Timothy (Molly) Whelsky, Amber Whelsky and Ashley Whelsky; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Mike (Debbie) Whelsky, Rick Whelsky, Anna May Alnutt, Ardell (Larry) Austin and Bonnie Clark; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to invite all to a celebration of Skip’s life to be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, at RFH’s Hideaway, 1058 County Route 57, Phoenix.
If family or friends should desire, donations may be made in Skip’s memory to the Friends of Oswego County Hospice, PO Box 102, Oswego, New York 13126-0102.
