Howard D. DeGroff, 56

Howard D. DeGroff, 56, of Red Creek formerly of Hannibal and Fulton, died Saturday at Rochester General Hospital.

He was predeceased by his brother, Max DeGroff, who died in 2002, his father, Howard W. DeGroff, in 2003, his wife, Sharon DeGroff, in 2003, his sister, Connie DeGroff, in 2004 and by his brother, Mark DeGroff, in 2009. Howard is survived by his mother, Eunice L. DeGroff; a sister, Holly Cummins and by brother, Jeff DeGroff all of Hannibal; his companion, Patty McCarthy of Red Creek; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Howard may be made to the Founders Affiliate of American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005. Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal has care of arrangements.
