FULTON, NY – John D. Brown, 65, of Cato died peacefully at home on November 14, 2009.
Born August 30, 1944, he retired as an overhead crane operator from Austeel in Auburn.

In his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing cards with his family and making sausage.
John was married to Janet Marie (Bresee) Brown, who passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Thelma (Miracle) Brown; granddaughters, Hailey Elaine and Elizabeth May; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Rosemary L. Brown; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara (Brown) Bushnoe Hewitt and Richard Hewitt and brother-in-law, William Duncan.
Surviving are his son, John (Tanya) Brown of Hannibal; five daughters, Linda (Dan) Parkhurst of Granby, Lilah (John) Davis of Fulton, Jill (Mark) St. John of Baldwinsville and Jaclyn Brown Borst of Baldwinsville; 19 grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (Robert) Foltz, Linda (Brown) Duncan and Mary Emily (Brown) Korthas; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private gathering held for family and friends at a later date.
Burial will be at Southville Cemetery, Stockholm, NY.
