FULTON, NY – Judy L. (Gorman) Avery, 56, of Oswego, formerly of Fulton, joined her new life Saturday May 3, 2014, at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness.
She was born in Oswego, a daughter to the late Robert D. Avery and Elinor Avery McCann.

Judy graduated from Hannibal High School in 1976.
She was formerly employed for more than 15 years as a dispatcher for Fulton Taxi, retiring in 2013 due to health reasons.
She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family.
In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Miller, who died in 1995.
Judy is survived by two daughters, Tiffany (Ritch) Batchelor of Oswego and Shannon (Jordan Roth) Gorman of Palermo; a son, Kevin Gorman II of Hannibal; a sister, Nancy Greenwood of Fulton; a brother, Richard (Doretta) Avery of Liverpool; three grandchildren, Peyton, Alasia and Alizaya; companion, Robert Haynes; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
