Karen Stafford

FULTON – December 25, 2025, Karen (Mayer) Stafford (79) went to be with our Lord on December 25^th, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. She was a 35 year employee of Nestle Foods. Karen loved to camp and spend time with her grandchildren. But most of all, she loved to be with her fur babies. She was pre-deceased by her birth parents George and Fannie (Rinaldo) Mayer, her beloved parents Raymond and Mamie (Rinaldo) Sweet and her brother Kenneth Mayer.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Michael Stafford Sr., her children Michael (Melissa) Stafford Jr., Scott (Melanie) Stafford and Kimberly (Thomas) Warne, as well as four grandchildren Michael Stafford III, Ashley Hoshihara Cruz, Morgan Flynn and Elle Stafford along with several great grandchildren and her brother Craig (Maureen) Sweet.

Calling hours will be from 4-6 pm on Monday, January 5^th at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a service to immediately follow at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/donate[1] in Karen’s memory.
