FULTON, NY – Lyndon C. Manford Jr., 65, lifelong resident of Fulton, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday February 16, 2017, surrounded by his family.
Lyndie was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending his time in the woods hunting, fishing and trapping.
He had a true passion for farming and enjoyed working with the machinery.
Lyndie also was the type of person who would make everyone smile and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lyndon and Marie Manford Sr.; sister, Marie Taylor-Manford; three brothers, Gary, George and Jeff.
Surviving are: three sons, Lyndon (Ron Bivens) Manford of Fulton, Christopher (Mary) Manford of Oswego and Devin (Dalores Bowering) Manford of Volney; six sisters, Diane Sweeney of Fulton, Linda Leach of Fulton, Sharon Bentley of Pennellville, Dorothy Coady of Fulton, Mary “Tina” Demott of Hannibal and Josephine Manford of Fulton; brother, Leo Manford of Fulton; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, February 20, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lyndie’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
