FULTON, NY – Marie F. Ellis, 93, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday January 1, 2017, at Seneca Hill Manor in Oswego.
A native of Geneva, she lived in Fulton most of her life.
Marie retired as a receptionist at the Fulton Public Library after many years and had previously worked at The Valley News.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Ellis, in 1998; and by a sister, Barbara Marshall.
Surviving are her children, David (Deborah) Ellis of Lititz, Pa., Ronald (Virginia) Ellis of Louisa, Va., Leonard (Nancy) Ellis of Fulton and Noël (Alfred) Butler of Syracuse; seven grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Matthew, Tony and Christopher Ellis, Nicholas and Alexandra Butler; and nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
Services and burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fulton will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Manor at Seneca Hill Activities Fund, 20 Manor Drive, Oswego, NY 13126.
