Marion A. Myhill, 85, a lifelong resident of Fulton died Thursday at her daughter’s home in Waterloo with her devoted husband of 65 years, Alfred at her side.
Marion was born February 13, 1926 in Fulton, the daughter of the late Earl and Mildred Pealo. She was a past Sr. Regent and Recording Secretary for the Women’s Auxiliary of the Royal Order of Moose, Fulton Chapter. Marion also worked at the Fairgrieve Elementary School Cafeteria for several years.
She was fun loving and will always be remembered for her humorous nature and spontaneous whistling.
Marion and her husband were inseparable and were the perfect example of true love. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. With her loving spirit, she bettered the lives of everyone she spent time with during her life.
Marion enjoyed travelling, music and loved spending summer afternoons on the front porch.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Myhill; her children, Paul (Linda) Myhill of Murray, KY, Joanne (Mickey) Hicks of Waterloo and Terry Myhill of Oswego; a brother, Robert (Pat) Pealo of Auburn; grandchildren, Chenny (Alton Jowers) Hicks, Armanda (Jordan) King, Tom (Colleen) Hicks, T.J. Myhill and Robyn Myhill; 10 great grandchildren.
Calling hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Spring burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Volney. Contributions in memory of Marion may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of C.N.Y., 5005 Campuswood Dr., East Syracuse, NY 13057.
