FULTON, NY – Mark J. Viola, 58, of Fulton, NY, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at home surrounded by family after battling leukemia. Born in Rochester, he was a son to the late Michael and Nancy (Brown) Viola.
Mark was the owner/operator of Viola Trucking and had been driving for over 38 years. He truly loved his career but most importantly he loved being at home with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Belinda; son, Michael John Viola; one brother, Louie (Jenny) Viola; three sisters, Michelle (Tom) Hudak, Karen (Dave) Krewer, and Maria (Ken) Wold; sister-in-law, Charity Gardner; father-in-law, John Gardner; mother-in-law, Donna Gardner; brother-in-law, John Gardner; and several nieces and nephews.
As per Mark’s wishes, he has donated his body to the Anatomical Gift Program at SUNY Upstate Medical University so there will be no services. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
