Mary “Betty†Blanchard, 92, of Hannibal, died Friday at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego. She had resided in the Hannibal-Martville area most of her life. Betty was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Hannibal. She was predeceased by her husband, of 58 years, Melvin “Doc†Blanchard; a son, Ted Blanchard and a daughter-in-law, Cherie Blanchard.
Surviving are her children, Joe (Sandy) Blanchard of Hannibal, Jerry (Pat) Blanchard of Flatwoods, KY and Pam (Alan) Buske of Minetto; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Monday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 923 Cayuga Street, Hannibal with burial at Martville Cemetery, Martville. There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to Oswego County Office of the Aging, 70 Bunner Street, Oswego, 13126. Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal has charge of arrangements.
