FULTON, NY – Nancy M. Merkley, 56, of Fulton, passed away Thursday March 20, 2014, at Oswego Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
She was a graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School, class of 1975.
Nancy was a big hearted wife, mother and grandmother who loved cooking and was never afraid to try a new recipe.
She worked in the food service industry most of her life.
Nancy was a people person and was kind to everyone who crossed her path.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Mae Hudson.
Surviving are her husband, David Merkley of Fulton; two daughters, Kelly (Chad) Kelahan of Aberdeen, Md., and Kimberly Merkley of Fulton; three grandchildren, Austin, Benjamin and Lillian; a sister, Genevieve (Mark) Garland of Mattydale; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, also at the funeral home.
