FULTON, NY – Patrick M. “Pat” Denery, 54, of Palermo, passed away on Wednesday February 21, 2018, at home after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Born September 15, 1963, in Fulton to Wilfred and Gail McGinley Denery, he was a lifelong resident of Palermo.
He graduated from Phoenix High School, enlisted in the Army, serving four years, then served in the Army National Guard and was employed with DiSalvo Farms.
Pat was a lifetime member of the Palermo Fire Department.
In his free time, Pat enjoyed playing his guitar, building model cars and was a huge fan of Snoopy.
He was predeceased by his father, Wilfred “Bill” Denery, in 2009.
Pat will be greatly missed by his wife, Kandi; children, Shawn Denery, Brian Denery and Darragh Weber; seven grandchildren; step-children, Angela and Jenny Stevens; mother, Gail P. Denery; siblings, Ed (Ronda) Denery, Andy (Debbie) Denery and Jayne Denery.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 25, from 2 to 5 p.m. with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
Spring burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery, Schroeppel.
