FULTON, NY – Richard “Dick” Dellomorte, 77, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday January 5, 2016.

He was born on July 10, 1938, in Syracuse, NY, a son to the late Angelo and Edith Cecconi Dellomorte.
On August 29, 1958, Richard married Sybil Loosen in Syracuse.
He was the owner and operator of Dellomorte Country Manor, located on the North Shore of Oneida Lake.
Richard retired from Gerharz Restaurant Equipment in East Syracuse in 2005.
He will be long remembered as Mr. D, the North Shore baseball coach and mentor.
Richard had a passion for cooking, loved his lake life, but above all else the love he had for his family.
He was an avid Syracuse sports fan and a loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sybil Dellomorte, in 2013.
He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his six children, Susan (Donald) Stachewicz of Cleveland, Barbara (George) Prehoda of Saratoga Springs, Michael (Nancy) Dellomorte of Cleveland, Christina Dellomorte of Cleveland, Anthony (Jennifer) Dellomorte of Cicero and Richard Dellomorte of Cleveland; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In celebration of Richard’s life, the family will receive friends and relatives at 916 Riverside, formerly Castaway’s Riverside Restaurant, 916 County Route 37, Brewerton, NY, on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The family will have a private burial at a later date.
