Santina M. Ferlito, 95, of Oswego, died Tuesday in Cary, NC. A native of New York City, she had resided in the Oswego-Hannibal area most of her life. Mrs. Ferlito was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Hannibal and had attended St. Joseph’s Chapel in Southwest Oswego
She was predeceased by her husband, James Ferlito, Sr.; a brother, Paul Belfiore and two sisters, Grace Zagame and Antoinette Pappalardo. Surviving are her sons, Michael (Joyce) Ferlito of Oswego, Ross (Malva) Ferlito of Hamilton and James Ferlito, Jr. of Cary, NC; a sister, Edna Mistretta of Fulton; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be private with burial at Hannibal Village Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Oswego Town Volunteer Fire Department, County Route 20, Oswego, 13126 or to Friends of Oswego County Hospice, P.O. Box 102, Oswego, 13126.
