HANNIBAL, NY – Shy B. Stanton Jr., 28, of Hannibal, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday May 6, 2014.
He was born in Oswego and graduated from Hannibal High School in 2004.

Shy played guitar, was a phenomenal artist and enjoyed playing video games.
He is survived by his parents, Shy and Shelly Stanton of Hannibal; fiancé, Crystal Romas of Hannibal; maternal grandparents, Donald and Kay Barney of Oswego; paternal grandparents, Floyd Stanton of Granby and Lucy Wettering of Mexico; aunts and uncles, Dawn Emmons of Oswego, Larry Barney of Fayetteville, Duane Stanton of Phoenix, Elizabeth Williams of Liverpool, Jacob Stanton of California and Autumn Stanton of Mexico; as well as several cousins.
Calling hours will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
