Violet A. Hall, 92, of Fair Haven-Sterling, died Friday at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego.
She had worked at Sealright Company, Sterling Co-Op and Nestle Company and as a bookkeeper for Ken Hall Excavating. Violet was a former member of the Poor Folks Snowmobile Club and she enjoyed sewing and crafting.
Violet was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Hall, Sr., daughter, Betty Whiting, great-granddaughter, Alecia Hall and grandson, Dan Dunsmoor.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Beverly Hall Jr. of Martville; grandchildren, Kenneth (Carol) Hall of Sterling, Debra Dunsmoor of Oswego, Randy Whiting of Sterling and Rhonda McCarty of Sterling; great-grandchildren, Robert Hall, Joseph Burghart, Megan McCarty and Alex McCarty; sister-in-law, Ella Cooper and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal with services to follow at 3:15 p.m. and burial at Springbrook Cemetery, Sterling. The family encourages contributions to the John Foster Burden Fund c/o St. Luke Health Services, 299 E. River Rd., Oswego, NY 13126 or to the Fair Haven Volunteer Fire Department, 14447 Fair Haven Rd., Sterling, NY 13156.
