Gertrude “Trudy” A. Repasky

OSWEGO – Gertrude “Trudy” A. Repasky, 86, of West Monroe, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Jessica (Murray) Thompson.

Trudy was a graduate of Oswego High School and worked as a secretary for the City of Oswego for many years.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Trudy is survived by her loving husband John Repasky, her children Melissa Letterman, Cindy (Patrick) Turner, Bob (Peggy Sue) Haynes,  and Christopher Haynes, her brother Bob Thompson, her grandchildren Bobby Haynes, Patrick (Mary Grace)Turner, Sean (Cody) Turner, Jessica Miner, Elizabeth Miner, and Maria (Chris) Chappell, and a great-granddaughter Josephine Miller-Turner.

In addition to her parents, Trudy was preceded in death by her siblings Tom (Banana) Thompson, Jack Thompson, Murray Thompson, and Mary (George)  Pelky.

In following Trudy’s request, there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
