OSWEGO – Richard J. Phillips Sr., 68, of Oswego, passed on July 20, 2020.
Born in Fulton, he was the son of the late Farrell and Lina (Switzer) Phillips Sr.
Richard was a graduate of Fulton High School. He was a veteran having served from 1971-1978 for the United States Army. Richard was employed by a general contractor for Disney World in Orlando Florida. He also worked at the Nestle plant in Fulton.
In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by five brothers Michael, John, Kirk, Terry, and Farrell Jr.
Richard is survived by his sons Richard Phillips Jr. and Kenneth Phillips; his brother Rick Phillips and sister Arettia Phillips, and four grandchildren Aylisa Phillips, Laklin Morris, Paige Smith, and Ian Phillips; also several nieces and nephews.Arrangements are in the care of Nelson Funeral Home.
