Angie V. “Alfieri” Lloyd, 88, of Oswego, passed away February 16, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Oswego, daughter of the late John and Zena (LaRosa) Alfieri.
She was a graduate of Oswego High and R.B.I.
Angie was a secretary for Columbia Mills for ten years, a secretary for SUNY Oswego for three years and retired from Century 21 in 1992. She also was a secretary for H & C Wallace in Washington D.C.
Her hobbies were dancing, playing cards and shopping.
She loved people and was very out-going. Her pride and joy was that she loved her children with all her heart.
Surviving is her daughter, Roberta A. Kinsella of Liverpool; her son, Carl David Lloyd of Oswego; a granddaughter, Jessica Elizabeth Lloyd; a great-grandson, Dylan Buske; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Giambo and a brother, Manny Alfieri.
Calling hours will be held 4-7p.m. Friday at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
Funeral services will be held 10a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
