OSWEGO, NY – Cathie M. Garrison, 62, a resident of Middle Road, Scriba, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday June 26, 2014.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Rachel (Naracon) Nearbin.
She enjoyed gambling, traveling, vacationing and spending time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Lisa (Jim) Vandish of Oswego and Holly Racha (Mike Brennan), of Baldwinsville; a son, Robert (Kristy) Garrison Jr. of Fulton; her siblings, Richard Nearbin, Rose Ingersoll, Ruth Legates, Rhea Beshures and Cherie Burridge; eight grandchildren, Mathew Bradford, Samantha Bradford, Douglas Bradford, Kiana Racha, Natalie Garrison, Joshua Racha, Jaymes Garrison and Hunter Garrison; three great-grandchildren, Ellianna Bradford, Demaryius Bradford and Braydin Bradford; an aunt, Aleatha Hallinan; her life long companion, Clifford Wilder and his children, Jeff Wilder, Scott Wilder, Greg Wilder, Beverly Wilder, Vicky Rushmore and Carol Tyler; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Rebekah Racha; great-grandsons, Channing Bradford and Xavior Bradford; and siblings, Robert Nearbin, Foster Nearbin and Kenneth Nearbin.
Calling hours will be held 4-7 p.m. Wednesday with a service to follow at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
Burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery.
