PHOENIX, NY – Cecil G. “Chuck” Pickreign, 69, of Phoenix, passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2016.

He was born in Saranac Lake, NY, to late mother, Betty J. (Rushlaw) and his father, Gordon W. Pickreign on June 3, 1947.
Later, he was an Army veteran, from 1967-1968.
Chuck had been a resident of Phoenix, since 1961.
Chuck worked for Church & Dwight Co., Solvay, NY, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of the Old Timers Hunting Club, a true outdoors man in tune with nature.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Susan M. nee Sotherden Pickreign; two sons and his daughters-in-law, Charles and Melissa Pickreign of Phoenix and Timothy and Carie Pickreign of Phoenix; his brother and sister-in-law, Wesley and Linda Pickreign of Gasport; his six grandchildren, Jessie, Scott, Morgan, Derick, Jacob and Ryan;three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday September 3, from noon to 3 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.
Services will begin at at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
Burial to follow in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St., Phoenix, NY.
