Claude B. Flack, a resident of Penfield and formerly of Oswego, NY, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at age 77 surrounded by family.
Predeceased by his Father and Mother, William M and Marion (Beley) Flack, brothers Lewis W. and William F. Flack.
Claude is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Joan (Mahaney) Flack, children Lori (Ken) Trovato, Mark, Angie Flack (J.D.) Brown and Jeffrey. He is also survived by his brother Larry (Sue) Flack and sister, Sharon Flack (Bruce) Hall, grandchildren Stacy Smith, Shelby Flack, Danielle and Eric Keller and Jack and Lucas Brown and many other dear relatives and friends.
After the death of his father in 1954, Claude was discharged from the Air Force and assisted the family with the operation of Flack’s Dairy in Oswego. He eventually purchased and operated the business until 1966. Later he moved to Rochester and worked in the health care field until he retired in 2007.
Claude’s passions in life were his family, gardening, travel, aviation and military history.
Friends may call on Wednesday, November 9th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany Street, Oswego.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 103 W. 7th St, Oswego. Interment to follow services at Rural Cemetery, Oswego.
