Edward M. “Teddy” Collins, 24

Edward M. “Teddy” Collins, was born February 6, 1987 in Oswego, New York. He died on June 2, 2011 in Rochester, NY following a brief illness.

He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Patricia O. Hanley of Oswego; his parents Michael and Mary Elizabeth Hanley Collins; his brother John Otis Collins and his sister, Bridget Patricia Collins also of Oswego; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ted graduated from the Oswego High School in 2005 and attended both Geneseo and Oswego State Universities. He traveled extensively with his family and especially enjoyed visiting relatives in Ireland and Florida. An avid musician, computer whiz and scholar, Ted will be remembered for his incredible wit, humor and good nature. He will be sadly missed by his many friends, especially Jes Monk and those with whom he attended school.

Funeral Services will be held 10a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held 4-7p.m. Monday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
