OSWEGO, NY – Eileen M. Munski, 90, of Oswego, passed on Friday July 1, 2016.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late James and Irene (Kulick) Yakowenko.
She worked in the Oswego City School District as a baker for 19 years until her retirement in 1989.
Eileen had a deep passion for cooking and baking.
She was also an avid gardener and a long-time member of the Rosary Society at St. Stephen’s Church.
She is survived by her son, Joseph (Michele) Munski of Pittsford, NY; her daughter, Phyllis (Robert) Stein of Hannibal, NY; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph S. Munski; and their son, Willie Munski.
Calling hours will be held 10 – 11 a.m. Thursday, July 7, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego, with services to follow.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
