Eileen Murphy McMillan passed during her sleep at her home in Palm City, Florida on Wednesday September 30, 2015, at the age of 63.

The daughter of Leo and Alice Murphy of Fulton, Eileen was born on September 28, 1952, and moved to Florida in her early 20s to live her dream of being by the beach in the sunshine state.
As a registered nurse of over 40 years, her mission was to make life better for others.
Her career began in hospital nursing, then she transitioned to pediatrics.
Over the past 20+ years she had been working in geriatrics where she cared for people in their last stages of life; some considered her their guardian angel on earth.
She leaves behind her team at Martin Nursing and Restorative in Stuart, Fla.
Eileen was a loving mother of two children, her son, Timothy McMillan, and daughter, Ashlee McMillan Cueto (Daniel).
Eileen is also survived by her siblings: Kathy Gildemeyer, Jeanne Smith (Byron) and Michael Murphy.
She lived for her children, family and friends and always believed “When your number’s up, your number’s up,” knowing that God has a plan for everyone.
Whether it’s family, friends or coworkers, Eileen will be missed tremendously and never forgotten.
Heaven has an amazing guardian angel and we are blessed that she is now looking over us!
A memorial service was held by her children on October 8 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Fla.
For friends and family unable to be there, a memorial mass will be celebrated for Eileen at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, at St. Stephen’s Church, 138 Niagara St., Oswego.
The mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Scardella, a personal friend.
