FULTON, NY – Elizabeth J. Duger Schremp, 89, of Fulton, died Sunday July 27, 2014, at Michaud Nursing Home.
Betty was a life resident of Fulton.
She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She had a strong dedication for her faith and family.
She was a homemaker who had an open kitchen to all. Her kind spirit and giving heart was key to many lasting memories.
She was predeceased by her husband, William, in 1978; and two sons, William, in 1947, and Paul, in 2014.
Surviving are her two daughters, Rita “Marty” Higgins and Terrye “Tom” Plonka; four sons, Mike “Liz” Schremp, Ray “Connie” Schremp, Jerry “Shirlee” Schremp and Mark “Lisa” Schremp; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Schremp; 25 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fulton.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fulton.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the atrium in Holy Trinity Church.
Harter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
