OSWEGO, NY – Elizabeth L. Barbera, 91, a resident of Oswego, passed away Monday March 25, 2013, at St. Luke’s Health Services.
Born in Fulton, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Catherine (Parker) Rebeor.
Elizabeth owned and operated The Beauty Nook Salon for more than 35 years.
She, along with her husband, owned and operated the Parkside IGA Supermarket in Oswego.
She enjoyed bingo, music, and spending time with her family.
Surviving is one son, James (Roberta) Barbera of Oswego; one daughter, Gail (Chuck) Bisesi of Liverpool; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Barbera in 2005; her grandson, Charles F. Bisesi Jr.; five brothers; and five sisters.
Services and burial will be held privately, at the convenience of the family, in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
