OSWEGO, NY – Ethreba Helen Fischer, 92, a resident of Oswego, passed away Monday March 23, 2015, at Morningstar Care Center.
She was born in Buffalo, NY, and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Hazel (Byer) Fischer.
She was a lifelong resident of Oswego.
Miss Fischer graduated from Oswego High School and for many years worked for Samuel Eisen, a local CPA.
She was a member of the West Baptist Church.
Her survivors include three cousins, Cheryl Jorgensen, Katherine and Anne Vroman, of Dover, New Hampshire.
She was an avid bingo player and gardener.
She will be remembered for her witty sayings, her kindness to older members of our community and her multi-colored fingernails.
Services and burial will take place in the spring, in the Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.
