Frieda Stone, 86

OSWEGO, NY – Frieda Stone, 86, a resident of Oswego, died Saturday March 19, 2016, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Sterling, NY, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Annabelle Parkhurst.
Frieda loved being a mom and grandmother.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon (P.J.) Dilts and their children, Jeff and Jessica, Barbara Teifke (Larry Bolia) and her children, Crystal, Sarah and Robbie; a son, Francis “Bud” Stone (Cheryl Keller) and his children, Ryan, Stephanie, Nicholas and Christopher; five great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Jo-An Stone; two brothers, Donald (Beverly) Parkhurst and Roy (Jean) Parkhurst; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Francis “Stoney” Stone (2010); and several brothers and a sister.
Calling hours will be held 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
