OSWEGO, NY – Irene Pashley, 62, of Oswego, died Monday March 7, 2016, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Bayside, NY, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Rose Cella.
She worked for many years as a floral designer.
Irene loved to travel and spend time with her grandchild.
She enjoyed driving her convertible with the top down.
She was an avid Syracuse University Basketball fan.
Irene was the first woman past District Deputy of the Elks Lodge in the Ontario District and the first woman Exalted Ruler of the Camillus Elks Lodges.
She was also the New York State Elks Major Projects chairperson.
Irene is survived by her devoted husband, Jan Pashley; twin sons, Gregory and Donald Ivanchak of Syracuse; her brother, Eugene (Marilyn) Cella, of Camillus; her niece and nephew, Katie and Paul Cella of Camillus; and one grandchild, Molly Ivanchak
Callings hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, 120 W. Fifth St., Oswego.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Warners, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New York State Elks Major Projects, care of Camillus Elks Lodge # 2367, 6117 New Port Road, Camillus, N.Y. 13031.
