Oswego – Joseph H. Crisafulli, 82, a resident of 55 East 5th Street in Oswego, died Sunday, at the Oswego Hospital.
Mr. Crisafulli was born in Oswego, the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Calderone) Crisafulli.
He was a graduate of SUNY-Fredonia
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Crisafulli was employed as a music teacher at the Oswego High School. He had previously taught music on Long Island.
For many years, he owned and operated the 1850 House Restaurant in Oswego.
Mr. Crisafulli was a well-known singer, and performed in many productions at SUNY-Oswego.
He was a communicant of St. Paul’s Church.
He is survived by a brother, Fred (Eleanor) Crisafulli of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by 4 brothers, James, Francis, Charles, and Michael Crisafulli; and 3 sisters, Mary and Josephine Crisafulli, and Margaret Mercier.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am Friday in St. Paul’s Church.
Burial will be in St Paul’s Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
