OSWEGO, NY – Loretta A. Dehm, 84, of Oswego, passed away Wednesday September 17, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Fulton and was the daughter of the late James and Anna Kuster Murphy.
Mrs. Dehm was the widow of Michael J. Dehm Sr. who died in 2000.
She had been employed for many years with S.E.M. Automotive.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
Mrs. Dehm is survived by one daughter, Diane (Kevin) Roy of Oneida; one son, Michael J. (Janet) Dehm Jr., of Oswego; two sisters, Helen Lyons of Auburn and Madelyn Harris of Minetto; six granddaughters, Ann-Marie Roy, Kathryn Wright, Elizabeth Dehm-Henderson, Megan Roy, Mary Kate Dehm and Sarah Dehm; three great-grandchildren, Gabriela Cruz, Claire Wright and Emily Wright; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Catherine Brooks, Margaret Casey and Rosemary Tubolino; and three brothers James Murphy, John Murphy and William Murphy.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
At Mrs. Dehm’s request, there will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church 103 W. Seventh St., Oswego, NY, 13126, Friends of Oswego County Hospice PO Box 102 Oswego, NY, 13126 or a charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
