OSWEGO, NY – Lucy A. Woodard, 82, of Oswego, passed away Monday August 6, 2012, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Nancy (Natoli) Saltalamachia.

She graduated from Oswego High School and attended Oswego State.
Lucy was a seamstress for Conn Knitting Mills and also worked at Oswego State in the Adult Education Program.
She was an avid baseball fan and her favorite team was the New York Mets.
She enjoyed reading and especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Jean Marie (Ken Munnelly) Woodard of Delmar, NY; her son, Norbert (Mary) Woodard of Oswego; three brothers, John Saltalamachia, Bart Saltalamachia and Joseph (Katherine) Saltalamachia; two sisters, Mary (Larry) Taormina of Oswego and Jane (Robert) Wedge of Florida; three grandchildren, William (Tonya) Woodard, Brendan (Amber) Munnelly and Jenna Munnelly; great-grandchildren, Michael Andrew-Charles Woodard; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Norbert Woodard Sr. in 2000; her brother, James Saltalamachia; and sisters, Anna Pacific, Nancy Saltalamachia, Angie Stevens, and Shirley LaFave.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
