Mary Louise Wasicko, a former resident of Fulton, passed away on Monday May 13, 2013, in Jupiter, Florida.
She was born Mary Kost on December 4, 1913, daughter of Elizabeth and John Kost in Kukova, Czechoslovakia, immigrating to Dunmore, Pa., in 1920.
She married Michael W. Wasicko and after residing in Danbury and Stratford Connecticut, they moved to Fulton.
After six years, the family moved to Liverpool and after retirement, to Gulfport, Florida.
Mary is survived by four daughters, Mary Lou (Roy) Walsh, of Summerfield, Florida, Elizabeth (Betsy) Weske, of Summerfield, Florida, Lucille (F.Cregg) Crosby, of Jupiter, Florida and Christine (Jack) Podger, of Fort Myers, Florida; along with a brother, John (Betty) Kost of Trumbull, Connecticut; a sister, Agnes Rushin of Dunmore, Pa.; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael; and a daughter, Michaelene Davies of Fulton.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Summerfield, Florida.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetary in Hollisterville, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, Florida.
