Maureen Kelsey, 63

OSWEGO, NY – Maureen Kelsey, 63, of Oswego, passed away Wednesday evening May 27, 2015, at her home.
She was born in Java, Indonesia, and was the daughter of Vera Kroese van de Rosiere and the late Charles van de Rosiere.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Eric Alan Kelsey; and her daughter, Jayme Marie Kelsey.
Maureen grew up in California with the sounds of the ocean always with her.
Later, as a Navy wife and mother, she demonstrated her strength of character and her love for her family as she persevered through 11 moves, five schools and four different states.
When she found herself in Oswego, she found comfort in the friendships she developed as a Girl Scout troop leader and a member of the Red Hat Society.
It will be quiet without her.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
