Rev. Jack H. Foley, 80, of Oswego, passed away February 11, 2011, at the Oswego Hospital.

Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late William and Doris (Moys) Foley.

Jack was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

He was a French Teacher at the Oswego High School from 1965-1985.

After retirement he served as a Priest at Our Lady of Wellsingham in Clay, NY.

He enjoyed reading and traveling.

Surviving are two brothers, Fred (Frances) Foley of Fulton and William (Gloria) Foley of Oswego; seven nieces and nephews, Jeanne (Alex) Arnold-Jeffress, Carol (Mike) Cappelletti, William (Carol) Foley, Susan (James) Suydam, Trish (Jerome) Lass, Sonja Foley and Erin (Steven) Price; several great-nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held 4-7p.m. Monday at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.

Funeral Services will be held in the spring at the Newman Center. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
