Richard W. King, 93, a resident of St. Rt. 104, Scriba, passed away June 17, 2011 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Scriba, NY, he was the son of the late Walter and Mary Jane (Cliff) King.
He worked at Columbia Mills. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and carpentry.
Surviving are two daughters, Laura (Kenneth) Buske and Maureen (LeRoy) Finlayson, both of Scriba; three sons, Lawrence R. King of New Haven; Arnold (Marsha) King of Minetto; Harold King of Scriba; a sister, Amber Timon of Oswego; thirteen grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred (Coe) King, a son and daughter-in-law, Conley and June King, a daughter-in-law, Nancy King, two brothers Howard and Stanley King and two sisters, Vera Johnson and Mabel Avery.
Funeral Services will be held 10a.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
