Rosemary J. ‘Rosie’ Harrington

OSWEGO, NY – Rosemary J. “Rosie” Harrington, 84, a longtime resident of 65 E. Fifth St., Oswego, passed away Wednesday morning March 27, 2013, in Oswego Hospital.
She was born in Scriba and was the daughter of the late Seth and Doris Forbes Eason.
She was the widow of the late George H. Harrington, Jr., who died in 1993.
She had been employed for many years as a customer representative with Chase Lincoln Bank in Oswego.
Mrs. Harrington was a communicant of St. Paul’s Church and had volunteered running the bingo concession for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Rose M. Harrington of Oswego, Doris A. (Todd) Matthews of Hannibal and Holly J. Harrington of Oswego; two sons, George E. (Kathy) Harrington of South Carolina and Timothy P. Harrington of Oswego; two, brothers Robert Eason of Scriba and George Eason of Oswego; four grandchildren, George L. Harrington, Tera E. Elhage, Anton T. “Teddy” Elhage II and Darcy A. Matthews; one great-grandchild, Thomas Remington Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Harrington was predeceased by a daughter, Mary L. Harrington Elhage; and a brother, Seth Eason.
There will be no services.
Private committal services will be held in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
