Vandeline M. (Vande) Hyde, 77, a resident of Simeon Dewitt Apts. Oswego, passed away November 30, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Betty (White) Hyde.
Vande was educated in Hannibal and attended Oswego State University.
She worked for the Oswego County Health Department for over 26 years, retiring in 1995.
Surviving are two sons, James L. Blackburn of Baltimore and Vance (Melissa) Blackburn of Oswego; a sister, Carol Eggleston; two grandchildren, Nikita and Kyrstin Blackburn; several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be held at the convenience to the family.
A gathering for friends and family will be held 1pm. to 3pm., Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Lombardo’s Bridie Manor Restaurant, 1830 Bridie Square, Oswego.
